Sold!

Whilst perusing B&N for some new fantasy, I saw a book called Tattoo, by Kirsten Imani Kasai. The cover photo, of the book's title inked onto the back of a dark-haired woman, seemed interesting.

But it was this jacket blurb that sold me: ""I'm loving it - it's like furry sexy biopunk arctic witchery. Really." Annalee Newitz, Ed. in Chief i09.com

Then again, with glowing praise like that, this thing must be chockablock* full of thematic goodness!

Found this spam comment on my last post. I think I know why I have it, but I'm at a loss to figure out why it's on this post and not one of the Shiroma ones...

The uncertain optimism of the pitch (this /could/ be the same as a dealership's tool) makes me want to give them my credit card info, address, and BLIND FAITH.
