Character Summary
Welcome to my little MMO blog! I play a Mithran adventurer in the world of Vana'diel (FFXI) and this is where I tell of my time in that world. My character's full name is Aerinravage although most call me Aerin.
I'm primarily a healer, with focus on those jobs I can use most for healing or helping others. Straight DD isn't my thing, although it can be fun every now and then.
Vana Note:
I retired on December 13, 2010. Mostly because I had recently been laid off and had to cut expense, and partly because even with Abyssea, single player and PUG play failed to get me anywhere...
That said, six months on, I *still* dream of Vana'diel and miss it terribly -.-

After reaching the 50s on WHM I gave up melee-maging. I'm still working on a soloing strategy that will probably involve /NIN once I get it high enough, but now my attention is 100% on the party's survival.

Just wanted to say congrats! I'd check your blog occasionally to see how things are going because I hadn't seen you on ffxi recently. But sounds like things have been very busy. Congrats on the soon to be new addition to the family! Isa.
Isa!! Thankies for your thoughts! We're excited about the new one, but as the new one (whom I will call Creature until forced to stop) was a surprise, we're trying to sort things out here ^^
Let me just say the 13-yo and 11-yo aren't entirely sure what to make of their soon to be sibling lol! In any case, I'm sure the newest of the Clones will be a lovely and loved addition to our family.
As for XI, I've been so busy with work and stuff not even counting Creature that I've had only an hour here and there, and that's just not enough.
I'd like to meet up with all my friends in-game for screenshots to go in the memory book I plan to make...

So yes it does sound like it was a bit of a surprise but a very excited time as well as you guys all start to get adjusted to a new addition to your family :)
Understand about not having as much time for XI. My son has just started to figure out the whole crawling concept so there is no free time until he goes to bed at night. But I wouldn't change it for a thing. My husband keeps wanting to make a little taru character in the game for him, but I think we need to wait a few years until he can figure out how to play games :)

Ah, the crawling stage ^^ Funny how with some kids, you can't get them to stop running around and then as they get older you can't seem to get them to do *anything*! (I'm looking at YOU, Elder!)
A little taru for your little one sounds precious though! If you ever do set that up, I imagine family quest time could be a lot of fun!
